Description

With the popularity of sports on the rise, there are numerous injuries commonly seen. Some of these injuries can be very debilitating or cause permanent impairment if untreated or mismanaged. Young athletes can be at increased risk because of developing bones and soft tissue.

This recording will assist therapists with appropriately assessing and treating common hand pathologies seen in athletes. It will also provide the clinician with knowledge to recognize injuries that may have been mistreated, and correct them before further or worsening impairments develop. It will discuss in-depth treatment of these pathologies giving clinicians confidence in assisting athletes in returning to their activities.
