MEADOWS: Bullying: Beyond Prevention Info, Impact, Interventions

Despite enormous amounts of time and energy allocated toward prevention efforts, bullying continues to be a common occurrence. This session will define bullying. We will break down the different types of bullying and different kinds of bullies and identify why the differences matter. We will look at the impact on children who are being bullied and the long-term impact on adults who were bullied in childhood. We will also explore interventions to assist suffering victims who are currently experiencing bullying and those who are adults still affected by their childhood bully experiences. We will also look at ways to help and stop those who continue to bully others.
