Description
If a patient were to present with signs and symptoms consistent for stroke or cardiac arrest, we wouldn’t continue assessing his shoulder pain. Why do we wait to assess patients’ gait and balance or to discuss comorbidities with them? Additionally, where would we refer patients who we deem are at high risk for falls? This session highlights the importance of early intervention to prolong functional independence. Break free from ticking boxes and learn to assess your patients' lives proactively. We'll introduce a Multi-Disciplinary Model to enhance your awareness of "Functional Red Flags" and equip you with valuable insights for evidence-based and effective patient care. Unlock the true meaning of "function" in rehab. Discover the essential questions and practical tools to assess your patients comprehensively.
