Description

There’s a hunger for more effective and easy-to-use trauma therapies....

...And Brainspotting may be among the most effective discovered in the last 20 years that combines both somatic and cognitive methods.

A unique adaptation of EMDR, Brainspotting is an emerging model that recognizes trauma reactions in the body have a resonating “spot” in a person’s visual field or eye position.

In numerous clinical trials, Brainspotting has been shown to be an effective treatment for PTSD and other trauma-related stress disorders – far more effective than a variety of other therapies.

Clients and therapists not only find this method easy to implement and follow, and research shows Brainspotting clients have significantly reduced symptoms, including full recovery from:

  • Negative cognitions and upsetting memories
  • Trauma-related anxiety
  • Dissociation and flashbacks
  • Shame and self-blame
  • Hypervigilance
  • Difficulty sleeping or concentrating
  • Trauma-related sexual dysfunction
  • And more...

You won’t find this training ANYWHERE else.

It’s never been released and represents the latest evidence-based methods for trauma treatment using the neuroexperiential model on which Brainspotting is based.

Seats both in-person and online are LIMITED. Register today before this training sells out!

Objectives

  1. Determine how eye positions have relevance in potentially accessing frozen trauma in the brain.
  2. Identify the role of therapist in a Brainspotting session.
  3. Determine how a client brings to session a frame of their experiences that the therapist recognizes, receives and holds with them.
  4. Evaluate the evidence supporting Brainspotting therapy as a treatment intervention for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
  5. Determine how the mutually held frame produces focused mindfulness processing.
  6. Summarize how developmental trauma yielding symptomatic manifestations is inaccurately labeled as disordered.
  7. Identify the hypothesized neurological underpinnings of how Brainspotting works.
  8. Define the uncertainty principle as it relates to Brainspotting.
  9. Use the inside and outside window Brainspotting technique.
  10. Utilize “Part Spotting” with dissociation to facilitate higher functioning of healthy parts and ask harmful parts to take a step back.
  11. Develop “Part-Spotting” with high functioning clients as well as the most dissociative and fragile clients.
  12. Evaluate how Part-Spotting can get stuck clients moving forward towards a higher functioning life.
