Esther W Williams, LPC, M.Ed

Esther Williams, LPC, M.Ed., has 25 years experience in public education, both in and out of the classroom. She worked as a middle school counselor during the 1990's when victims of bullying first began to use guns and violence to call attention to their pain on a national scale. This spurred Esther to begin researching bullying and to develop interventions to ensure that the students in her school were safe and that bullying was effectively addressed. Esther is currently a licensed professional counselor in private practice and consults with school systems throughout the country on numerous school related issues including bullying, anger management, students with disabilities, and student motivation. Her strategies, communicated in her two books, The Bully, the Bullied and Beyond and Breaking Down the Wall of Anger (YouthLight, Inc., Chapin, S.C.)., have helped thousands of social workers, teachers, counselors, psychologists, nurses, law enforcement, and allied professionals become more skilled and confident when dealing with bullies and their victims.
